Visitors can learn more about the site's history from volunteers who are on hand daily in the cave and can take a walk along the rim of the sinkhole, which is being replanted with native species.

Only accessible by water, the Fern Grotto is located roughly two miles up Kauai’s Wailua River. A tour of the Fern Grotto is approximately 90 minutes, learning the history of the Wailua River Valley. Bring your camera and prepare to be awestruck.

Visit Kilohana Plantation today and travel back in time. Capturing 1930’s Kauai, the plantation is one of Kauai's treasures. In 1935, Gaylord Parke Wilcox decided to build his dream home with his wife, Ethel. The house featured Tudor-style architecture and became known as Kilohana. The 16,000 square foot mansion was the center of a 26,000-acre sugar field, serving as the family home for many generations.

Ho'opulapula Haraguchi Rice Mill has been in the Haraguchi Family for six generations. It offers weekly public tours of both the rice mill and taro fields which explore the rich history of the farm and the family running it (six generations).
